Teas Nursery has championed the beautiful hibiscus for more
than 55 years. This is an easily grown, free blooming, exotic
bush that adapts well to container growing conditions or as
an annual if planted in the ground in all but the most northern
areas of the country. The following are some of the hardiest
and most easily grown:

cultural care for hibiscus. Formerly titled "What
Every Hibiscus Grower Should Know." This 2003 edition
edition comes with a picture section of new hybrids.

Green Light Rose Defense
This new product will defend your roses against insects and
disease without using artificial pesticides. The active ingredient
is Neem oil from the Neem tree in India. It really works and
is affordable, too. Note: Because it is a natural oil you
must use caution when temperatures are high to avoid burning
your plants.

Alfalfa Meal
Alfalfa in meal form to provide an organic source of nitrogen
and potash to the soil for roses and other plants. It contains
an enzyme to promote root growth. When soaked in water, makes
an excellent tea for all plants, especially roses.

Our own brand of rose food was formulated to provide the
ideal ratio of nutrients for beautiful roses.

Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salts) This product provides
magnesium and sulphur and seems to promote basal breaks in
roses. It has an acidifying and greening effect on yellow
leaves in alkaline soils. Instructions for garden applications

Miracle Gro for Roses Mix it in a sprayer for foliar
feeding or in a watering can to pour around the plants. Use
water soluble foods when roses are going dormant and should
not receive strong granular preparations.
